Paul Leach

Company Director

Paul had a childhood of exploration, being schooled in the UK and Zimbabwe he was fortunate to travel extensively across the globe. Whilst Paul’s main career was working as a managing director for Tier one banks in London, he always had a strong interest in the environment and nature. So when fortunate enough to retire from banking at 32year old Paul explored the charity sector and worked on climate change projects for the Rainforest Foundation, amongst others.

In 2008 Paul left the UK to travel to all the key high growth economies of the Far East and South America to make strategic investments in countries that had high growth potential and a government commitment to infrastructure and tourism development. This, as is still the case, is why he invested in Lombok.

Having made these investments, Paul spent the following decade in the UK’s property development sector gaining experience in sustainable construction with the aim of utilising these skills in the Far East. Alongside development Paul set up and is owner of a boutique structural glass company in the UK (#fablight). However, now that Lombok has emerged from it’s long sleep as ‘the next Bali’, Paul’s handed over his responsibilities to be full time on Blackwell Estates Lombok projects.
